All of the above allow for a great deal of creativity. 5 elements to every event: purpose, audience, timing, venue, concept. Some of the attributes events have which created this unique experience are festive spirit, uniqueness, quality, authe(cid:374)ti(cid:272)ity, traditio(cid:374), hospitality a(cid:374)d sy(cid:373)(cid:271)olis(cid:373). Think strategically: audience, participants, suppliers, contractors, stakeholders (media, sponsors, local authorities, security etc). Evaluation of location and the range of suitable venues and facilities. Choice of venue will determine many elements of staging. Surroundings and characteristics of the venue can enhance the event experience. Identify ideas that best serve the needs of the event.
