Lecture Objectives:
- Recall: Identify how Plato’s “Myth of the Cave” shows that philosophy is the intellectual activity of critically
examining our most fundamental beliefs.
- Interpretation: Demonstrate familiarity with the traditional divisions/branches of philosophy, specifically –
Epistemology, Metaphysics, and Logic.
- Problem solving: Discover the difference between the kinds of questions philosophers of each branch asks.
