Posterior - extension and external rotation of humerus. Retraction, upward rotation, elevation and depression of scapula. T7 - sacrum spinous processes, posterior iliac crest, lower 4 ribs, inferior angle of scapula. Shoulder as a topographical region: region can be represented by combining 4 parts, shoulder joint, scapula on the chest wall, cone of muscles supero-medially, axilla. Arm and elbow region: radius: all supinators and pronators attached to radius. Some deep anterior and posterior forearm muscles, and brachioradialis, attach: force transfer particularly in distal forearm, ulna: triceps, brachialis, supinator, pronator quadratus, some deep anterior and posterior forearm muscles, force transfer particularly in distal forearm. Flexion and supination of forearm, and flexion of humerus. Lateral head - posterior proximal aspect of humerus.
