Business process: structured network of activities supported by resources (human and non- human) and information that interact to achieve some business goal. We refer to the network of all business processes of organization as its activity system. Complete: well-designed bp include all activities necessary to achieve business goal. Minimal: well-designed bps do not include unnecessary activities (cost efficiency) Well-structured: activities in well-designed bp are structured in logical sequence. Embedded: connect and interact with other bps in the organisation in effective and efficient ways. Outcome: increased effectiveness (value for customer) and increased efficiency (less cost for business) Day to day value creation and delivery. Business process improvement logic: small improvement x high repetition rate = big cost savings. Important to reflect on you own team work skills. To understand how you can best operate in and contribute to a team. Team performance positively affected by strategy planning and team focus effort.
