The test will comprise three medium-answer questions, designed to test your understanding of the first three weeks of the unit. In the second hour of the lecture we will discuss how to approach the task of undertaking secondary research, and how this can be applied to assignment 1. Cost and time: access to good-quality resources for a fraction of the cost high -quality data- the smapling procedures were rigorous. The smaples are often national samples or cover a wide varity of regions. Opportunity for longitudinal analysis: possible to chart trends and connections over time. The wider obligations of the social researchers: research participants give up part of their time usually. Making data available for secondary analysis enchances the fuller use of the data.
