Examining politics and practice in urban climate change experiments. Sea-level rise, climatic change 130, no 3: 411-424. Adoption: risk assessment and risk management approach-what are the risks to infrastructure and what are ways to manage these risks -this is different to the justice approach. Understanding vulnerabilities not just risk-putting the mors vulnerable first-considering future harm. The focus on the oecd is at the national level. For local area: not alot of help out there (gap between the needs of decision-makers and data, fiancies and who do we measure the value/benefit of adaptation planning. Disadvantage tends to cluster -so adaptation policy needs to address the clustering and corrosive disadvantage of vulnerability to cc. Aim to provide fertile functionings or a reversal of clustered vulnerability. Combing knowledges to map vulnerability of a range of capabilities. Eg: risk management approach to flood prone areas - any new buildings or add on needs to be built above a certain level.
