User & Artefact Personas. Simplified user experience design models.
Successfully identifies users and creates a ‘flow & effect’ onto the project.
Define:
User Personas: Integrated with user experience.
Essence- they are artificial users to represent our real users. In order for
us to then represent our real users to reference, be informed and validate
our designs and user experience.
Representations of the goals and behaviour of a hypothesized group of
users. Mostly synthesized from collected data* of the following areas:
Behaviour Patterns
Goals
Skills
Attitudes
Environment (Context)
Commonly more than one persona is developed. HOWEVER, there should
only be one focused primary persona.

Consider: Age | Sex | Occupation | Hobbies | Likes & Dislikes |
Personality Traits | Collected Data Above * |
Research is key when developing an intimate understanding of the
persona and their use.
