Universal declaration on the rights of indigenous people: All peoples contribute to the diversity and richness of civilisations and cultures, which constitute the common heritage of humankind. All doctrines, policies, and practices based on advocating superiority of peoples or individuals on the basis of natural origin or racial, religious, ethnic or cultural differences are racist, scientifically false, and legally invalid. Peoples suffered- historic injustices as a result of: Inter alia: colonisation, dispossession of lands, territories, resources hence preventing them from exercising their right to development in accordance to own rights and needs.
