Today"s lecture will heavily focus on from anthropological point of view why we desire what we desire, how appetites are produced and satiated. Here recall the ideas of pierre bourdieu (habitus) and michel foucault (archaeology of knowledge). Symbols occur in everyday life around the world and influence us both consciously and subconsciously. However, it is also out personal backgrounds and experiencers which determine how we interpret certain imagery.
