A teacher or parent can provide corrective information, alternative strategy, clarify ideas, encouragement, look up the answer to evaluate. Misconception; the teacher is the only source of feedback a student can get. Teacher feedback about student learning is essential for students and integral to teaching, learning and assessment. How their knowledge, understanding and skills are developing in relation to the syllabus outcomes and content being addressed. Feed up (before they start the expectation), feed back (how did you go with the task) and feed forwards (suggestions with moving forward, what could you do next) Signi cantly improve learning processes and outcomes, if delivered correctly. The impact of effective feedback on student learning is high compared with other variables such as lowering class sizes etc.
