Seroconversion to get high titre of antibodies occurs in 99. 5% of those who complete the 3 dose course. Only works against strains of hpv in the vaccine. Vaccine protects against strains known to cause 7/10 cases of cervical cancer (hpv 16 and 18) and 9/10 cases of genital warts (hpv 6 and 11) Candidate for eradication (5-6 generations) since only in man.
