Dxh601 (integrated experience design) - week 1 lecture: activity: given a sheet of paper with rows of boxes. In the first row, we had 60 seconds to sketch a 4 distinctly different trees. In the next row, we had to draw 4 distinctly different shoes, then 3 depictions of traffic and finally 4 illustrations of remote: carla will be taking the tutes. She is currently doing a phd in service design and has previously done ivd: designers need analytical minds, this unit will integrate everything learned before in the degree. Image design > interface design > interaction design > experience design: (cid:862)a picture is worth a thousand words. An interface is worth a thousand pictures. (cid:863: often the first design is not the (cid:271)est, (cid:373)o(cid:396)e ofte(cid:374) it(cid:859)s the 53rd design, even just creating an image everyone can understand and read is very complicated.
