Interpersonal: interaction between two or more people: public communication: occurs when an organisation communicates with a number of receivers at the same time, mass communication: occurs when an organisation communicates with the general public. Sender: encodes the source and transmits the message through the selected channel. Communication involves: encoding is when the sender puts the message into words, pictures or actions, decoding is when the receiver interprets the message. Message: the idea or feeling transmitted from sender to receiver. The receiver: the receiver decodes and interprets the message.
