Female pronucleus migrates to male pronucleus via cytoplasmic contractions. 1st true cleavage holoblastic, asymmetrical and rotational. Anterior founder cell (ab) and posterior stem cell (p1) P1-1 founder cell (ems) and 1 stem cell p2. Subsequent cleavages form founder cells and stem cells (from p1) that will ultimately give rise to the germ cells (gametes) 1st 2 daughter cells of e lineage migrate in from ventral surface to form the gut. 2nd p4 migrates in and will form germ cells. 3rd daughter cells of ms and c and d migrate in to form mesoderm. 4th ab daughter cells migrate in to make pharynx.
