An example of a condition that justifies hiring a culture consultant is when a
company conducts its business in a country whose culture is considerably different
from that of its own.
3. Name a mechanism (not included in Note 6) for increasing cultural awareness.
Visit cultural fairs that are often hosted by local immigrant communities (other
similar answers work too).
4. What can companies do to lower local resistance when introducing home-based
company practices to a foreign culture?
When attempting to transfer home-based practices to a foreign culture, a company could
introduce changes gradually instead of doing so all at once.
