Chapter 2: ideological dilemma in international politics: constant approach, absent approach o. Korean war, taiwan strait crisis, geneva conference on indochina and: khrushchev emphasised peaceful transition, different than chinese revolutionary stance. Chinese delegation at congress praised this new shift: however, mao was unpleased with stance on stalin. This probably reflected mao feeling own leadership in china. He believed stalin"s faults were secondary to his achievements threatened. But mao began to express his resentment against stalin.
