They cannot focus on one thing: difficulty sustaining attention, affects school work, play, remembering. At least 6 of the following symptoms of inattention must have persisted for at least. 6 months to an extent that is maladaptive and inconsistent with developmental level. Fails to give close attention to details or makes careless mistakes in schoolwork, work, or other activities. Does not seem to listen to what is being said.
