In prima parte there are a few etchings that have dilapidated structures instead of stately buildings, picturesqueness instead of sumptuousness and instead of clarity and precision a bold and free technique is applied. The plan of a great college- formed by a dozen concentric circles. Resembles the stictly geometrical arrangements which became common in france after 1760. They are crammed with a great variety of non architectural objects which visualize space by their contrasting directions and their different levels: poles, ropes, banners, beams etc. post a three dimensional impression.
