Lineup: get people standing and person from behind a glass chooses who is the culprit. People sometimes pick individuals who look like the individual who committed the crime, not necessarily the actual culprit. People are more likely to say that the culprit is not found in sequential rather than simultaneous. Also if police say the offender might not be in the lineup it does increase accuracy. Mistake on memory based on suggestions from interviewer. You have vague idea of what happened and interviewer helps you plug holes with things that didn"t happen. When people have traumatic experiences they can"t stop thinking about it. Lost in the mall scenario: experimenter would successfully plant memory into subjects that they were lost in the mall when they were younger. Meeting bugs bunny at disney: this scenario makes no sense because bugs bunny is a warner bros character. Slight change in detail and people will still accept it.
