We are conscious of many fewer things than we think we are (ex: vision) Conscious of self: being aware of own place in universe. After doing it for a while you know where each key is so you can do the activity quicker. This allows us to do things quicker and do more things at once. As kids we notice every little subtlety in our world because everything is new. Don"t need consciousness for computer to do a lot of damage. Some computer programs have already affected our lives. It controls what we can and cant purchase with our credit or debit card. Refers to feelings or conclusions we draw without being aware of how we arrived to it. When you trust someone your mind goes through several processes without you knowing. Can lead on larger scale to racism or discrimination. Some things that feel natural are actually simply the way we learn things.
