Definition of a child primarily from biological perspectives. This can complicate understandings of children"s rights! Examine what human rights are-the concept of what they are about! Examine ideas that arise when talking about human/children rights! Examine how the concept of children"s right and the dominate theories have shifted! Understand why the un convention of the right of the child is stipulate/outlines-why does this content exist! The notion /concept of rights presupposes that there is some kind of consensus, people talk about rights as things that can not be disputed! Every concept must be situated within a group that shares an understanding of the signi cance ! Un rights of the child etc can not be seen as mutual because they are coloured by certain cultural perspectives! Rights can only be understood in a social context! Has to be amoral community that recognizes need for children to have rights, grant these rights and make sure these rights are protected ,promoted etc.
