We encourage you to study from different filed, it makes you stronger researchers. Ambivalent (ambi means both, valent means feeling ambivalent means to think of two minds, to think critical of something, see things in different ways) We should be ambivalent about children because if you just love children because they are (cid:272)ute, the(cid:374) (cid:455)ou are (cid:374)ot appre(cid:272)iati(cid:374)g a(cid:374)d re(cid:272)og(cid:374)izi(cid:374)g their (cid:272)o(cid:373)ple(cid:454)it(cid:455). Do(cid:374)(cid:859)t just idealize them, not allowing them to be full subjects. This is the purpose of child studies we want to continue to complicate child studies. What do they hope to accomplish/preserve through child rearing: these questions and their related consequences demonstrate the difficult when studying child studies.
