CLCV 1003 – Terms 2 140114 Senate submits to the senior consul a list of candidates for: • Dictator Centuriate Assembly elects: • Censor • Consul • Praetor • Urban Aedile Tribal Assembly elects: • Rural Aedile • Tribune • Quaestor Cursus Honorum  • The later of government • The Council in brakes were optional [Censor] • Minimum age of 42 • They were the chef of registration, there were open to bribes • To become a Censor you had to be trusted and well respected • 2 censors were elected every 2 year • 2 were elected every 5 years Consul • There were 2 consul elected • They were kind of like the prime mister • They would chose the dictator from the list given to them by the senate • 2 consul were elected annually Praetor • They were the chief law officer and judge or commander of an army • There were 6 Praetor • Annual election [Aedile] •  They supervised public works, temples, markets and games/festivals • There were 4 Aedile (2 rural, 2 urban)
