Zeus and ganymede: zeus fell in love with young boy from troy, named ganymede, zeus took him up to olympus to be the cup bearer. The crime of excessive physical love: just like how hubris/overwhelming pride is bad, excessive physical love is bad too. Kandyales and gyges: herodotus tells a story of the consequence of loving too much. Kandyales was a king with a beautiful wife. He told one of his bodyguards (gyges) all the time how beautiful his wife was (excessive physical love)
