Chapter 12 theory of mind: we don"t confuse zombies with humans even though they are human like. Vampires, zombies, and other weird things: how do kinds learn to not confuse zombie representations with human representations. Theory of mind in children false belief task. Where was it after: the child watches a situation with puppets. Anne puts the marble in 1 box and walks out. Sally thinks she should put the marble in the other box. Anne comes back and the child is asked where anne is going to look for her marble. The correct answer is in the box she left it in. However, children under 5 think anne can only have primary representations/she is capable of having representations that aren"t about the real world. Have a hard time seeing what other people think. Autistic children are missing something that allows them to do the task.
