Argue: people have always been theorize about aspects of communication and always been theorizing media, but they just didn"t call it communication and media. When we are persuade someone about fall in love, it is a discussion of persuasion, how can we know that we are suitable with that person. Writing changes memory, how do we think about things. Phaedrus is not about media, it is about love; not about talking, about truth; not about technology, about connection. Use voice as communication tool, it is limited. If all mankind minus one were of one opinion, mankind would be no more justi ed in silencing that one person that he, if he had the power, would be justi ed in silencing marking . Only through a diversity of opinion is there, in the existing state of human intellect, a chance of fair play to all sides of truth .
