When we speak, all we do is use language, but the meaning will always ever be partial. Real meaning is always absent, or postponed. If meaning has been constructed, our job is to deconstruct it. Our problem is with the system of structure. Culler: structuralists take linguistics as a model and attempt to develop. Grammars which are systematic inventories of elements and their possibilities of combinations that would account for the form and meaning of literary works. There are a plethora of different meanings for words. What creates the answer for meaning: politics and power diameter. Some people have power over others, and they determine the rules.
