Hands are an essential way to establish a communicative environment. It"s a primary vessel for which we act on the world. We"ve built a world that privileges the hand. Language and hand are both instruments of articulation . Language is an instrument of articulation because in language we convey certain words to create meaning. Hand is an instrument of articulation because we see hand able to touch and select things to shape our experience. Hands are used to show how to work the ipod and how its power and benefit is used. These mommy apps are all connected, not valuable, not prestigious, feminized labour of care is devalued. Definition: doing work for money, physical work. All human bodies have a capacity to do work. The more we become alienated from our labour, the less content we are. Other types of labour: industrial, distributive, service, consumptive, knowledge, digital, care. Sometimes referred to as domestic labour (cooking, cleaning)
