Character driven literature: considered to be more important; advertised this way due to printing. As a title they draw emphasis on characterization. Realistic characters have a rst and last name: gives individual identities. Cinderella doesn"t have an proper name; it is a nickname: the nickname is a product of bullying (not love) We expect names to identify people but this name gives information about the people around her: shows us that we are dealing with a di erent kind of characterization. Realistic : writers trying to give depictions of actual people.
