Daughter os celeus took her home with them. Their mother (metaneira) was home, demeter walked in as a goddess. Demeter sat there sad, the servant iambe made jokes until she laughed. She became a nurse to demophoon, treated him like a god. Put him in a fire every night to burn away the human and turn him into an immortal god. Metaneira screamed, demeter swore to curse the town unless they built her a temple and did the holy. Stayed in the temple, would not go to olympus, everything falling apart.
