Similarity of the processes or structure of one cultural group or organization to those of another. It has to do with sim that are seen as being at the core of social structures. Sometimes this similarity is as a result of imitation or independent development under similar constraints. Practices were adopted through mimicry; imitation were carried over. Takes individuals culture and the nation states for granted. The interconnections that are drawn presume stable elements. All movements take place within structural system.
