Elite males in medieval europe all had weapons. Starts by pushing moors back, involuntarily having trained themselves to be capable of conquering more lands within and outside of iberia. Densely populated areas great grounds for plaque to thrive. 1502 all remaining moors in grenada is given the option of going back to africa (most have never been) or converting to christianity. Those who did not convert were considered catholic, or dead. (convert, leave, die) Europeans are interested in three things while coming to africa: ivory, gold dust, and african slaves. Before europeans got involved with african slaves, arabs were interested and trafficked them far before. Europeans had great difficulty sailing into trading centers in africa die to currents and ignorance, and had someone within africa assist them. Europeans excluded by africans, so african slave traders lend a hand. Europeans and slave traders benefit, those enslaved however . Rich in europe: more people through more land.
