Moscow insurrection, bolsheviks fought it out with police and army, but got no public support. Put down by a regiment of the army after a week of fighting. Peasant unrest flaired up, had not been a factor up to now. 1905, 1906, many manor houses burnt down, peasant union formed, called for a constituent assembly. Tsar has already made a legislative assembly. Turn over all land to the peasants! After urban unrest had peaked, agrarian unrest woke up. Urban unrest doesn"t match with peasant unrest though. Gov"t sent out squads to put this out, they were active till (cid:883)(cid:891)(cid:882)(cid:889) Why it is called revolution of 1905-1907. The end of this thing: chaotic and weird. Caused by many of the same factors as the 1917 revolution.
