School resource officers: 26 officers, 4 sergeants, cover approximately 370 schools, all criminal incidents that happen at school or to and from school, or affect the overall school environment, every school has a resource officer assigned to them. Substance use and abuse: prescription dugs, rideauwood counselors in all high schools. Bullying: 28% of all students grade 7-12 report being bullied, police issue when escalation occurs and criminal act committed. Social media: cyber-bullying, ops parent and student presentation.
