Comorbidity is when an individual suffers from two or more conditions at the same time. Anxiety disorders are often comorbid with other anxiety disorders. Approximately 50% of individuals with one anxiety disorder also have a second disorder. Suicide is a surprisingly common risk with anxiety disorders.
