The central nervous system will be more focused in neuroscience, and the psn is usually mostly ignored. The central nervous system does most of the work (the brain does everything, and controls it all. The spinal chord is the highway between the brain and the rest of the body) 1) the somatic ns: all the spinal and cranial nerves carrying sensory information to the cns from the muscles, joints, skin transmits outgoing motor instruction that produce movement. Balances the body"s internal organs to rest and digest through parasympathetic nerves to fight or flight through sympathetic nervous system. *the brain is very well protected and has many layers protecting it, as it is very important. The first layer is dura mater:( for hard mother) it is a double layered fibrous tissue very hard layer of tissue encloses the brain and spinal cord. It surrounds the outermost part of the brain after the skull: arachnoid layer (latin for spider web):
