From a young age, taught not to pollute. Humans that have moral standing cannot deprive other beings with liberty. Unrealistic not interfereing with human kind, its naure. Nothing purely nature whats external to use [involves anything other than human person does it have moral value????] Ecosystems ice, rocks, trees do they have moral value. Cows cannot digest corn properly = ecoli = requires anti-biotics = haven"t taken in account that others will be paying for this by death even though cheaper to provide cows with corn. Rings in circle purely virtual people = future generations do they count [moral compass is. The more we damage the environment, the more we pay to clean it up. It is difficult to understand point of view of environment bc it has none. [not conscious ecosystem in itself is not conscious but sustains conscious beings]. Question of value biocentrism way to avoid this issue is intrinsic value.
