Technology is related to basically everything in history. There is a historical process that drives humanity. Karl marx believed that history would end with the end of capitalism. Liberal democracy is the only form of legit government after the cold war. The end of history is about the messy implementation of the liberal idea. Parts of the developing world remain mired in history. All states will become pressured to become liberal democracies. Mainly authoritarian states such as china and russia. Developing countries are set back a ways and are not at this point yet but they will reach it at some point. Radical islam: o o is one group that rejects this liberal idea. They do not have a viable development model: alienation and radicalism often happen to people and groups who are transitioning to modernity.
