Rule of law in international affairs: human values/ christian civilization o. As history has progressed, it can be argued that these canadian values have changed. Christian civilization has pretty much dropped out. Democracy is more of a prominent value now. These are technically still the official values of canada however. The charter of rights and freedoms has added to the list. However, canada is different, not much concern over security because we are next to the us, heavily protected. Our largest focus is on economy, we are in need of workers, this leads to need for immigration. 16 million people lived in canada in 1950s.
