Research on social judgements considers how people make decisions, interpret past events, understand current events and make predictions for future events: these decisions influence our attitudes and behaviours. Like most complex decisions, social judgements are frequently defined by fast responses: when our experience is compatible with the situations, we will be correct. However when they are incompatible, this will result in an error. Transmitter channel (w/ noise) receiver: the channel could be hearing, seeing, etc, this channel can create so much noise that the message can be misinterpreted.
