Even if interrogators do occasionally persuade suspects to confess, there is the danger of false confessions: study in textbook about the different ways people react when being interrogated. Do you think innocent people confess: yes, if they feel pressured or are convinced they"re going to get convicted so they try to plea bargain, easily manipulated by police.
