The root of the house is the biological domain. This is the part that we do not see. The part of the house that is at eye level, such as the door and windows, is the dispositional domain. As the house reaches heights that is not at eye level, we reach the intrapsychic domain and the cognitive/emotional domain. The roof of the house, the area that engulfs the entire building is the identity or self. Your identity include information about who you are, such as; Your goals and the self that you hope to be, as well as who you are afraid of becoming. There are so many different ways of looking at the self, as the self is a very complex concept. There are two different forms of the self; The self can be relatively independent this means that there are ideas of the self that are independent to different situations.
