Mechanical solidarity a type of social order maintained by the collective consciousness of a culture. Organic solidarity a type of social order based around an acceptance of economic and social differences. Organic solidarity presupposes difference between individuals and groups: less in common and greater degrees of difference, interdependence, multi(cid:272)ulturalis(cid:373) (cid:448)(cid:859)s (cid:373)elti(cid:374)g pot (cid:373)odels, increasing individualism and autonomy (rules governing behavior and interaction, (cid:858)do your o(cid:449)(cid:374) thi(cid:374)g(cid:859) Expansion is a necessity (new markets and old markets)
