We(cid:271)er(cid:859)s three t(cid:455)pes of authorit(cid:455) (cid:894)legiti(cid:373)ate for(cid:373)s of do(cid:373)i(cid:374)atio(cid:374)(cid:895) (cid:894)3(cid:895) Traditional authority is legitimatized by the long-standing custom/tradition. We obey as we have become so accustomed to it. We have been taught traditionally to obey and just accept/believe everything they say. Governing through formal rules (rather than personal decisions) The rule of law enacted by specific positions/offices. The prime minister is different than the office. The people at the bottom have no say. Each department has their own area (subject or geographic) they are in charge of. Power is carefully delimited - who can do what and under what circumstances.
