A lot of social behaviour we group as deviant, we see as (cid:498)different(cid:499) behaviour, not the future. Crime always involves illegal actions, but deviance encompasses all crimes. There are more deviant acts then there are crimes. Crime is a violation of a legal norm. Deviance may have both formal and informal punishments, or no punishments at all. Some acts of deviance may not be a crime, but they can become a potential crime in. Canada defines beastiality only as penetration between a person and an animal. Doing other sexual things is not illegal behaviour. There are links between the abuse of animals and criminal behaviour; there are certain implications of legal, deviant behaviour. Deviant and anti-social behaviour can turn into dangerous behaviour.
