To maintain academic integrity it requires good planning, reference, time management and critical thinking. Objective 2: recognize the various types of academic and professional misconduct. Academic misconduct includes actions that have a negative effect on the integrity of the learning environment. Academic misconduct includes but is not limited to: Offering, giving, sharing, or selling essays, questions, and/or answers to tests or exams, quizzes, or other assignments unless authorized to do so allowing work to be copied during an examination, test, or for any other assignment. Objective 3: summarize the impact and consequences of plagiarism. Plagiarism is claiming the words, ideas, artistry, drawings, images or data of another person as if they were your own. Two consequences: receiving a disciplinary notice on your academic record and assigned the integrity quiz.
