How to write a philosophy essay: basic essay structure: Ideally, the objections and replies should be equally long (5 sentences each). The objections should be hard and serious and developed: examples, thought experiments , conclusion one paragraph. You want to offer public reason that convince people you got the right answer take a position and convince others you got the right position. In this paper i discuss the difficult problem of abortion. Does not take a position: my thesis is that abortion is not something i would choose. In this paper i argue that abortion is sometimes acceptable. Closer to taking a position but it is a bit vague, not specific or clear enough.
