In response to the dismissal of rj jennings new administrative assistant, all of the executive assistants in the company vacated their posts and assembled in the staff lounge. They have demanded that the reversal or they will air their concerns on national tv. The main problem in the case is to reach a fast, yet effective resolution to this threat. There are underlying problems that have led to this crisis that are recurring. This is not an isolated incident-overall company policy needs to be addressed: all employee"s are supporting a 6 week employee. Company"s products are geared towards women-media exposure could impact sales negatively: large amount of target market is woman. Trace the series of events that led to this occurrence. What power struggles exist: power theory, jennings vs gregory. What are the feelings, perceptions and motivations of the key players: what do they perceive they"re expected to do, vs. what they"re expected to do.
