Psychology is a science: science is a process of collecting and evaluating evidence, systematic: evidence collected and evaluated to rules and conditions, empirical evidence is gained through experience and observation. Knowledge-- observation- test/refine/control observations - accept/ refine/discard: science is a self correcting process, empiricism= knowledge should be acquired through observation. Progress at science is that there is change.
