Problem: people ignore the intersection of biography and historical context. The person does not understand why they feel the way they do, despite having good jobs, family lifes,home, money, etc. yet high levels of substance abuse (valium and alcohol). The problem that has no name : females feel like despite a nice home, husband, and family something is missing; Organization man : despite having good life feel apathetic and dissatisfied pharmaceuticals dissatisfied with life. Result: trying to solve social problem on individual basis and individual solutions the result is feeling frustrated and helpless. Analysis: the problem is bigger than the individual individual solutions don"t work on the grand scale.
